Help - A possible costume
Heather and I are going to be putting together new costumes this year. Recently, Heather got an amazing dress at Value Village that is just perfect for the base to a costumer.
The only problem is neither of us are really sewers / crafters.
The dress really needs just that something extra to turn it into a costumer, and we're looking for ideas. What can we use to accessorize it with? Does it need anything added on? Any ideas as to a theme / specific costume?
We have access to the usual: makeup, more material/fabric, costume jewellery. We're a bit short on time and sewing skills, so we're looking mainly for "add-ons".
What do you think?

Thanks!

Redoing the garage
If anyone's passed by the house over the past few weekends, you'll have noticed copious piles of stuff on the driveway. That's because we're redoing the entire garage this year.
For the past several years, the garage has kept the same basic design: in the side door, out the front. Far be it for us to mess with that-- but the rest needed a face-lift.
One of the main goals is that the garage needs to be usable during the winter for parking cars in. The old set design didn't allow that. Behind the cells and cages were stacks of boxes, shelves, and wooden beams.
This year there will still be wooden beams, but they'll be portable wooden beams. We've designed the set so that, come November, it can be struck and packed away.
As for what the new set will be-- well, that will just have to wait until the big night. See you there!
